Note: Fuel prices are published by Saudi Aramco on the retail fuels page.
Prices shown are official rates and may vary slightly between petrol stations.
Saudi Arabia's fuel prices are set by Saudi Aramco, the state oil company that also happens to be the world's largest oil producer. Despite the Kingdom's vast oil wealth, fuel prices have been gradually reformed as part of Vision 2030's energy subsidy rationalisation programme. Saudi Arabia still maintains relatively affordable pump prices compared to global averages.
Fuel grades available in Saudi Arabia: Super 98 (premium), Special 95 (standard), E-Plus 91 (economy), and Diesel. Prices are in SAR per litre. Saudi Arabia also has a growing network of EV charging infrastructure as part of Vision 2030's sustainability goals.
Saudi Arabia's domestic fuel consumption is among the highest per capita in the world, driven by extreme summer temperatures requiring heavy air conditioning and a car-dependent urban infrastructure with limited public transport (though this is changing with Riyadh Metro and other projects).
