Note: Fuel prices are provided by Woqod.
Prices shown are official rates and may vary slightly between petrol stations.
Fuel prices in Qatar are set by Woqod (Qatar Fuel Company, QPSC), the state-owned fuel company that operates the Woqod petrol station network across the country. Qatar, as the world's largest LNG exporter, maintains highly competitive domestic fuel prices as part of its broader energy policy supporting economic development.
Qatar's fuel mix is slightly different from other GCC countries: Special 95 is the standard grade, E-Plus 91 provides a budget option, and Diesel powers commercial vehicles. Qatar does not currently offer Super 98 at most stations. With no VAT on fuel (Qatar has no VAT system), the pump price is the true total cost.
Qatar's fuel infrastructure has expanded significantly ahead of and following the 2022 FIFA World Cup, with new Woqod stations and improved road networks across the country. The Woqod app is widely used by residents to find nearest stations and check current fuel prices.
