About

About DailyRates

DailyRates is a free, independent financial rates tracker built for residents, expats, and investors across the GCC and India. We publish live gold prices across all major karats (24K, 22K, 21K, and 18K), official fuel prices by grade, and currency exchange rates — all updated multiple times daily from authoritative sources. The site is fully available in both English and Arabic.

Our Mission

Financial data in the Gulf is scattered across government websites, exchange offices, and industry publications — often delayed, inconsistently formatted, or buried behind paywalls. DailyRates exists to change that.

Our goal is simple: give anyone living in or trading with the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, or India a single, fast, and reliable place to check what gold costs at this moment, what fuel will cost next month, and what their currency is worth today.

We are transparent about our sources, show data without advertising clutter, and keep the interface clean so the numbers speak for themselves.

Why Trust DailyRates?

Official gold sources

Gold rates are sourced from recognised industry bodies including the Dubai Gold & Jewellery Group (DGJG) via Gulf News, the Saudi Gold & Jewelry Group, India's IBJA, and equivalent authorities for each covered country.

Three-session gold updates

UAE gold prices are published three times per day — morning, afternoon, and evening — matching the official DGJG market sessions. Other markets are updated daily.

Monthly official fuel prices

Fuel prices are updated on the 1st of each month, immediately after official government and national oil company announcements (ENOC/ADNOC for UAE, Saudi Aramco, Woqod, KNPC, NOGA, and others).

Central bank forex rates

Currency exchange rates are sourced from official central bank publications for each country. The AED/USD peg (3.6725) and SAR/USD peg (3.75) are correctly reflected as fixed rates.

Official prayer times for GCC

UAE prayer times are sourced directly from the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments (AWQAF UAE) — the same source used by mosques across all seven emirates. Saudi Arabia uses the Umm al-Qura method (KACST). Other GCC countries use the AlAdhan API with country-appropriate calculation methods.
