Prices shown are official rates and may vary slightly between petrol stations.
Fuel prices in Oman are set monthly by the Ministry of Energy and Minerals, following partial subsidy reforms in 2016 that linked prices more closely to global markets. Before 2016, Oman's fuel was heavily subsidised; the reform brought prices to partial market levels while maintaining affordability for residents.
Available fuel grades: Super 98, Special 95, E-Plus 91, and Diesel. Prices are in OMR per litre. Oman's 5% VAT (introduced in 2021) is typically included in the announced monthly pump prices. Oman's state fuel distribution is dominated by OmanOil and Shell Oman stations across the country.
